$12,000,000,000! The price of beauty, or the cost of vanity, increased by 12% in 2013 to over $12,000,000,000, with more than 11 million surgical and nonsurgical procedures according to American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). The top cosmetic procedures are liposuction, breast, augmentation, eyelid surgery, tummy tucks, and nose surgery. The popularity of butt augmentations have increased those procedures by 86% 2014, a statistic that wasn’t even included in 1997 ASAPS reports.  But what is the ultimate cost of plastic surgery?
