293 is the number of swipes that are there in onetube of lipstick, beauty company Birchbox has claimed.
One intern at the lifestyle company took charge of the swiping the lipstick and marked swatchesof four different lipsticks on giant pieces of butcher paper until she ran out, New York Daily News reported.
For the experiment, Birchbox determined thatthe average woman's lip length is 55mm, and that's how long the swatches were made on the paper.
